Vic Rigas

Over 24 years ago, Vic left his quiet desk job with the City of Lodi to work in the energized environment of our shipping and receiving department. And he hasn’t looked back. Where he does look, now that he’s a Sales Representative, is inside our cartons of fruit each morning. Often he’ll come early, take pictures of the fruit for customers, and do whatever it takes to gain first-hand knowledge of the fruit and pack.

“That way, I know exactly what I’m talking about,” he says. “The whole staff and I share a real passion for growing the best piece of fruit for the consumer. That makes every day exciting – this job is never dull.”

Vic describes a typical day at Rivermaid Trading Company: “It’s not like going to work, but going home. We’re like a big family here; we all care about one another.”

Still, Vic enjoys spending time with his real family, doing yard work, hanging out with his two sons and taking long Harley rides with his wife. He also gives back to the community by donating to the local Boys & Girls Club, and serves our industry by participating on the Asparagus Board.
